How long have you been doing photography?   Do you have a business?  As so many I have always loved taking pictures.  This past year I have slowly started to promote my business.   I work on location and my business name is Captured by Connye.  

What is something no one knows about you? People always tell me how much they like my style but when I look in the mirror I do not see what they see.  

When you can do anything, what do you do? I love going on a road trips with my family! We can not wait to explore Atlanta and make new memories.  Of course I will be taking pictures along the way....  

Tell us something funny about yourself:  I can get my self lost very easy... Even in Lubbock.

Just moved to Northern Virginia  last June & we LOVE it!

I have loved photography since high school (seems like FOREVER ago!) & started my business almost 2 years ago with by best friend Brooks Kleven.  Jennifer/Brooks Photography is an awesome place to work! 

What is something no one knows about you?
I'm deathly afraid of sharks.  Can't watch JAWS or even shark week on the Discovery Channel.  No thank you, no thank you, no thank you!  

When you can do anything, what do you do?
Well, even with my fear of sharks, I LOVE the ocean.  I love to spend the day on the beach with my favorite people.  If I can't make it to the beach, you'll find me at the pool reading a good book or hanging out with my awesome husband and son.  Family days are the best!

Tell us something funny about yourself:  
Whenever I walk into a room, I think how I can rearrange/design it.  A sad little habit of mine.  If I wasn't a photographer, I'd be an interior designer.

Name 2 of your weaknesses:
Starbucks, most definitely.  It's not just about the caffeine addiction, but the whole experience.  I love walking in, the smell of the coffee, deciding what I want that day.  Crazy, I know!
I'm really neurotic about my house being clean.  Really neurotic...

I will do anything for the people I love
I'm a perfectionist (a weakness as well!)

Photography found me just 2 years ago. I stumbled across Lauren Clark's blog and immediately fell in love with it. Up until that point, I never knew photography could be so full of life. I jumped right in and have been rocking my biz ever since! Blessed? Yeah!

What is something no one knows about you?
I still dream of becoming a professional ballerina.

When you can do anything, what do you do?
If I had a perfect day off, it might go like this: yoga in the morning with a friend, some antique/thrift shopping with a friend, relaxing at the pool with a friend, and then eating a super simple dinner at home with a friend...and maybe a great movie...with a friend. I love my friends.

Tell us something funny about yourself:  
I adore High School Musical. As in, I own all the movies, made a t-shirt, and went to the theatre on opening day! I'm pretty sure I sat next to an 8 year old who kept telling me how cute Zac Effron was. :)

I try to do everything at one time-it's not really possible. And I worry too much about what other people think.

I love to go sit on the beach.  Play in the ocean with my kids.  Relax with a miller light.

I consider myself geographically retarded.  I am not good with directions, East, West, North, and South.  I love my husbands GPS.

I've always loved photography, but I've been pursuing it seriously for  a little over 2 years.  I co-own  jennifer/brooks photography with my best friend Jen Wilson.

What is something no one knows about you?
I love clothes. My closet is extremely full.  Embarrassingly so.  When I moved recently I could only have my closest friends help me move my clothes, because it is so unreal.

When you can do anything, what do you do?  
Read, travel, dance, go the beach, hang out with friends, and sometimes take a nap.

Tell us something funny about yourself:  
I am a champion car dancer and lip syncer! On any given day, if you pass me on the road, you will be witness to some serious lip syncing and rocking out. It's the only way to drive.

Name 2 of your weaknesses:
Number one is caffeine. I am a complete Starbuck addict. Cannot live a day without my coffee!
Number two is carbs! I'm forever trying to avoid these deliciously, scrumptious little pieces of heaven in hopes of losing a few pounds... but somehow I cannot say no to dessert.

I give my all to my closest friends.
